Lilach Shaham

Lilach Shaham is a doctoral student at the Department of Education in Science and Technology at the Technion. She brings a wealth of experience as a mathematics educator, having taught students at both middle and high school levels in Israel and the United States.

Holder of an M.A. degree (Summa cum laude) in Science Teaching with a specialization in Mathematics Teaching from Tel-Aviv University and another M.A. degree (Summa cum laude) in Gerontology from Ben-Gurion University.

Lilach’s professional interests center around low-achieving students and devising strategies to disrupt the cycle of ritual participation. Her doctoral research is dedicated to investigating interventions aimed at breaking this cycle, drawing upon the commognitive theoretical framework.
